Take a Look

In May 2002 after the work had started there were some notable changes. We were amused that the first thing the contractor did was paint the house white, about which the neighbours had many favourable comments - white houses seem to be an Algarvian fixation! Here is what we saw as we drove up -

.

By March 2003 some progress had been made, and the house was actually livable. We had heat in some of the rooms, a working fireplace in the living room, and a functional kitchen. Two of the three bathrooms were in use. To the right you see the living room by night and by day with an incredible chandelier that Mi found in Almancil.

Now let's take a look around the house:

The living room with "entertainment centre" - OK, it's a TV.

Dinner in the kitchen or dining room

And dining al fresco during construction

Ah, the bathrooms!

And you don't want to miss the Indian godesses!
